Any opinions on quality, especially on Barker Black and Stuart's Choice, with Crocket and Jones as the baseline?

I've been less than impressed with the Barker Blacks I've seen. The designs are notably tacky, and the quality does not seem special.

Stuart's Choice (Grenson Masterpiece) shoes have been very good to me. I would compare them favorably to my C&J Handgrades, though I think the soles C&J uses are harder-wearing. Then again, my oldest pair of Stuart's Choice shoes has also been caught out in more unexpected rainstorms than any other pair of shoes I own for some reason, so the wear I've experienced on those may be simply because they've gotten wet more often.
