1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I picked this up off of Ebay from someone who said he'd worn it only once. I believe him. I've worn it twice and concluded that, though it's an awesome jacket, it's not for me.

What's to like about it? Fantastic wool, solid Filson construction--Filson's reputation is no joke. I love the pockets, including one inside the coat that I hadn't expected. The zip is plastic but very beefy and should give no trouble. Great color. Warm? I think so, although the few times I've worn it, it hasn't been cold enough for me to really put it to the test.

Here are some pics. The color is off on all of them: it's too dark and brown-like in the pics in which I didn't use a flash, and too brightly green in the shots in which I did use a flash. The discolored regions one sees in some of the pics do not exist in reality. I want to stress that the wool is in great shape...no signs of wear. There are loose threads, but I'm betting the coat came that way (see complaints about them in the reviews on the Filson website). None suggest that anything is amiss, just that the seamstress perhaps didn't clean up enough.

    Retails for $295.
