    Hello,

Does anybody on this forum know about a certain chain of rather high end men's stores called Barcelino's?

Apparently they have their dress shirts made by a company called Cellini in Italy, and I was thinking of purchasing some. I want to know the quality of this Cellini brand as I have never heard of them. Methinks the quality is high as I examined the buttons, and they were really quite thick. Almost on par with Fray.

If anybody has any information please do share. Thank you.

Sorry to pour cold water, but I would not judge the quality of a shirt by the thickness of the buttons. You can buy a sack of thick mother of pearl buttons for around US$20. But I'm sure you're looking at other aspects of the shirt. Sorry. Just wanted to share a bit of knowledge about M.O.P.

Name me ONE shirt brand that has thick MOP buttons that isn't exemplary.

I have been in Barcelino a bunch of times and seen things I like, but have never actually made a purchase. The sales people are usually very helpful and exemplary, particularly a guy named Amin in the Stanford store.

I think I've just been leery because much of the merchandise is Barcelino's own label, or one like Belvest, etc. that I'm not as familiar with. I, like you, tend to be a Label King, and stick to names I know and trust. This might be keeping me from discovering worthwhile new clothes...I agree with you that the shirts look well constructed and worthy of purchase. Are they currently on sale?
