Barbour Quilted Jacket Sizing

How does the Barbour Liddesdale fit compared to the Beaufort?

I own a 40' Barbour Beaufort, and in the business for a quilted jacket. In your opinion, would I fit the Medium or Large Liddesdale (or similar)?

Also, whats your favorite lightweight quilted jacked?

I am a 42 (beaufort jacket), and also thinking of purchasing a liddesdale to wear over the suit to the office (if temp falls below 12 C). I tried on a Large, and it fitted me fine.
So I guess you could go with medium, if you plan to wear it with just a shirt or a sweater.

Got to bump this. Any idea? I would likely be a 36 in the bedale, so I'm thinking xs or s. Any suggestions?
