Easy! I just rewaxed my border.

You need thornproof dressing, hot water, a cloth and some beer. Music and female company also helps (or male, depending on your preference).

Barbour reccomends once every year, but I assume that advice is if it's getting heavy use in the elements. If you're just wearing around the city, I don't think a new one would need rewaxing for years.

    thanks guys

so if im a 36 and take a small in the tokito, would 36 in the international be too boxy? could i work with sizing it down to a 34?

for reference i am a 36r chest/suit and wear a small in everything from w+h, sns herning, inverallan, wvg, epaulet, gant rugger, etc. (except wwm & eg im XS cuz of their boxy fits)

If you're not planning on adding the warm liner you'd probably get away with sizing down (not sure they go that small though).

I haven't really followed any waywt threads here or on superfuture or too many street fashion blogs, but I havent really seen any pics of the tokitos on the street. Meant to buy the bicycle jacket last season (and the spring season before that), but something else came up. Now I'm thinking I might finally cop a tokito piece this s/s.

So yeah, would be nice to see some fit pics on how these actually look in real life.

... so for those with the international original, how warm is it??? is it recommended to buy one of those quilted inner liner layer jackets?

The orginal uses the older style 'teddy bear' fur lining rather than the quilted one, and you need to make sure you order the A5 lining (the ones for the older Bedale etc don't aline properly. I found I needed the lining for temperatures below 5c if was wearing it over a flannel shirt. Obviously if you plan on wearing a sweater you might not.
