I'm Sure this jacket has been brought up plenty of times, but after looking at past threads I still have some questions.

1) For those who have seen them in person, what colour looks the best? I see J. Crew currently has them in navy, black and Olive. Seems like the more versatile one might be the navy, but the Olive seems to be the classic colour?

2) Is J. Crew's model any different, perhaps similar/

3) Any chance of getting this on sale or perhaps somewhere I might be able to apply a coupon? Any upcoming sales-- Chrismas, Black Friday, etc?

Thanks

In all seriousness....

1) I have the olive. I love the olive. Wouldn't fool with the black. Navy is quite intriguing, but in my opinion the olive is the most versatile and the most classic (if that's what you're looking for).

2) I believe it's the same jacket you can find anywhere that sells Barbour.

3) Good luck finding it on sale. J. Crew tens to pull all their collab stuff when they offer a big coupon (like last week). You might be able to get it shipped to you free!

if you want the best deal on a Barbour, DON'T get it J. Crew (or Orvis either)... you can save $100 or more by buying one from a UK seller, even with the shipping.

FWIW, I got a 10% student discount at a bricks and mortar Barbour store. J. Crew can't touch this because of their policy on collab items (unless you can take advantage of a glitch online).
