Nothing too special, but it seems like he's getting some good wear on his denim

Somehow, I feel that somewhere between the 70's and now people in general just lost the ability/habit of naturally wearing clothes that fit.

We got more fat people than any other first world country, GEE what surprise since our population is 3-5x More (like 15 x canada and aussie) than any other first world counttry. Wow, who would have thought simple math could explain that. More population, more fat people, basic.

Um, total population has nothing to do with the assertion. Percentage is. 1 in 3 (33%) of americans is considered Obese. The population as a whole got fatter. Fat people rarely look good in clothes designed in the 70s and prior. The proportions are completely out of whack (Waist > shoulders), etc. The concept is very basic, but not in the way you described. Here's some data to show the trend, but I didn't dig back far enough to reach the 70s: 1995: Obesity rate was 15.3% 2000: 19.8% 2005: 23.9% 2008: 25.6% I'm from Tennessee. TN has a rate of 30.1% So I got to see a lot of:
Moving to CA, obviously, I see a lot less of that, but they're still herding around.

I stopped by New Orleans over spring break a few years ago and it was all drunk people. Didn't notice too many obese monsters but maybe it's because I spent most of my time drunk as fck as well

Nice try, but statistics don't fully account for observation, nor the statement about america getting fat. So you can google, good for you.
