some colleagues of mine are singing in the choir for that. Being paid $10,000, all travelling expenses paid in a top notch hotel in the area. Not a bad deal.

somebody I know was at a bar mitzva in new york recently where they got an NBA player to make a film with the boy playing one on one basketball and losing.

I had hoped, when the time came, just to take globe jr. down to the corner bar for a shot and a beer. this raises the expectations to an insane level..

My colleague just got back from the gig.

Instead of Timberlake they got Destiny's Child. Andrea Bocelli also performed. Two whole hotels were rented out, and it probably cost about $10 million US.

My colleague met Simon Cowell at the gig and said that he's "not a bad guy".

Definately one of the best gigs this guy has ever done.
