I couldn't find anything via search so I will post my question here.

I saw on opentable that the dress code is business casual. I have a reservation but after dinner my wife and I are going to a rock concert after and the dress will not be business casual.

Can I get away with nice jeans, jacket, and dress shirt for dinner and then just jettison the jacket before the show?

You don't need to even bring the jacket to jettison.
