    Or 3. too tall to fit into it

    ;_;

    +1

    I'm 6'5" and I couldn't fit into BoO unless I shrank.

    or that. but they do make tall sizes if you can find them...
    Only in the shirts, which were pretty rare. I would have some of their suits if they were like 2" longer, especially the ones in the latest winter collection.

    Loving how people are shocked that this closed.

    Think of the things that have closed during the recession. SCORES. SCORES closed because of the recession. A business built entirely on cash, probably tax-free, used to bring in up to $400K a night. Closed. Scores! closed! And you think Band of Outsiders is going to survive?

    Get used to it folks. SoCal is going to be starting a few of these threads over the next six months.

    Seems unlikely with as much as they sell at full pop, probably more than any other designer at most stores.

    Most of the businesses built on loans will be the ones closing. From what I've read (admittedly little) Scores closed because of lost liquor licenses. It's hard to bring in revenue with cover charges alone at a strip joint. Business is infinitely more complex than shirts sold vs. other brands. Stop trying to compare BoO to other brands and pulling out supposed sales because it just doesn't work. And with this industry there's really no upfront payment. In order to get shirts made there needs to be payments to manufacturers and such. It's very credit-based.

    There are tons of well hyped and critically acclaimed brands that went under.

    We should start a list:
    Cloak
    Obedient Sons

    Ask Mauro :p

    I'll ask chad, too. He's probably more in contact with scot. I still love how a few people are railing on band as being over-priced as if other brands don't have profit margins or are also made in the us. Seriously...

    Am I missing some sarcasm, or are those brands just too mid-market for you?

    Bummer if true. BoO has really grown on me in the last year.
