Balmoral or Derby style shoe??

That's a derby/blucher.

I believe the balmoral part refers to the galosh line, even if technically incorrect.

I believe an English balmoral is different from a US balmoral. A balmoral in England by definition has a golash line. This differs from the US. Bengal-Stripe should be able to expand.

A balmoral is always a closed laced oxford

An oxford with the brogueing, punching or stitching along the galosh line is the poster child for a balmoral

Yet in England, a balmoral encompasses more oxford style shoes than just the galoshed balmoral
