While it is not for everyone I kind of like the Norvegese stitch on those Sutors. I have similar stitching on a pair of Borgioli's and it does not look bad in real life. But different strokes for different folks. Not everyone digs a 360 degree Goyser either.

Looks like the progeny of an unholy coupling between MC and SW&D, pretty sure SW&D was the mother.

not a fan of coupling a causal fabric with such a classical mens boot but the design, shape, and construction of the boot look great. pebble grain would be great.

I agree. An otherwise nicely shaped boot but I can't get behind that particular aesthetic. I don't particularly like out there colours on such a boot. I'd have the same reaction to purple suede. I think I am getting old and set in my ways!

Cross-post from Carmina thread: Carmina balmoral boot on Forest last in cognac shell with Dainite soles (i.e. this, only shell: http://www.carmina.telemaco.es/articulo.asp?idarticulo=3465222). Purchased about a month ago, shortly before their price increase.

The small perforation on one side looks incompletely punched.

Im happy with this boot. It gets on well with jeans or dress pants but the only problem is it takes so much time to put on and take off :D
Will buy another ones on next sale :)

mymil, just poke the smaller holes through with a thick needle. This may seem OCD, but I assure you the overall look will be much cleaner afterwards.
