1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Hey just heard from Pepe over at Meermin regarding a balmoral boot, they are creating a pattern and it should be good to go shortly!

slew, the boots are also a bit lighter in person. the picture on the site makes them look like #8 when they are actually a burgundy shell

Yours are Burgundy shell? Wow. They really look like Dark Brown shell like the Daltons in your photo. Either way, much better than BB site!

Jodhpur returned, waiting to hear back from Meermin for new MTO.

Both Carmina and C&J are comfortable but carmina gets the a slight edge. What's remarkable is how te Robert last can look so elegant with minimal creasing of the shell and still be comfortable.

They don't accept MTO returns. They accepted mine because the MTO I received was different from what I specified

Nothing just yet, but I have been in close contact with Pepe as they may be opening up a store in the states with me as their RE broker, so we talk quite a bit! They are perfecting the pattern to make something good looking, should be in the works soon. when I hear more, you will!

It's exorbitantly expensive to have a store in NYC, with rents from $500-$3,000 Per square foot, so just need to be sure the figures work out. you have to sell a lot of shoes to make sure you can cover the extra expense. I have every faith that they will be opening one however!
