Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere, but according to the Allen Edmonds CEO, Paul Grangaard, AE is working on a bal boot for next fall's collection.

    Quote from AAAC:

You're in luck - Two new dress lace-up boots are in final stages of development for introduction for the Fall season next year. They look great, too. One is similar to the boot we made for characters in the movie Titanic. The other is a balmoral captoe. Requests on Ask Andy definitely inspired our efforts.

    Best wishes,
    Paul

As the snow has come down, I thought I'd post pics of my MTO Culford.

I reckon I'll gradually darken them up with dark brown wax polish.

    Nice -

Really, IMO, C&J have the most 'hits' consisently of any of the true UK manufacturers.

Top notch stuff, through and through. Whoever their line-builder is, is really good.

^ "Culford," is that not Alfred Sargent? I like the side panels -- is that the custom part?

Requested change to side panels, colour (burgundy) and eyelets (stouter type). The design change is down to AS. I was after something similar to the "Kelso" boot, but AS came up with this. A much better design. There's a touch of Edward Green there (e.g. Galway boot), I think.
