EG Shannon, 82 last. I don't think I have ever been quite so besotted with a pair of RTW (or, really, MTO) shoes as I am with these. Sorry for the half-assed shine. What can I say; I'm no sysdoc. Any shoe geek who does not have a pair of these (ahem, ap, jc, rh) is a disgrace to shoe geekdom.

I think nine is standard for a boot like that. I opted for eyelets all the way up rather than the hook speed lacers. The eyelets on my Carmina boots don't really bother me, so I figure these won't either.

I think for this style, there is EG Shannon, or bespoke, and that's it. Does anyone else make this RTW or MTO? I remember some Austrian maker does, but you have to go there.

as essential or classic as these might seem, very few balmoral boots are made today in rtw. I don't see a single men's pair in the 07 C&J catalog (even though there is one women's). I don't remember finding any on the entire pediwear site either. is that strange?

Leave me out of this... you know that I just ordered two pair of these...

Shannon, coffee suede, single elatther sole, 82 last

Shannon II, edwardian, Southwold toecap, single leather sole, 82 last

Unless of course you mean in black.

Andrew,
Did you go with eyelets all the way up, on your Shannons, like Manton. Or with the hook speed lacers? Here's a picture of the Shannon in that configuration(from Tom at Leather Soul)
