Bad Yoox experience - would you buy from them again?

    I sincerely appreciate everyone's responses and perspective on this, and I now regret posting this as a "bad" experience. I very well may buy from Yoox again, knowing as I do now their policies and the efficacy of waiting for markdowns.

    Do they still have your size? Often there's only one available. Pulling the trigger early -- and paying more -- can be the difference in getting an item and not getting an item.

    If you got the last one, take comfort in knowing that there are probably guys out there looking at the sold-out item in their Dreambox and thinking "Knew I shouldn't have waited ..."

    im eyeing a Barba red bengal stripe dress shirt in 16 which is currently at 79 bux. i know i could buy it now (and i would if i needed another red stripe shirt), but risking the chance it will be at their next Clearance. now i told you all, im sure it will be gone!

    i bought some pants and then a week later they had a coupon code... however i just bought more stuff...

    yoox is like a game of chicken.

    you have to see how low your item will go, but not to long or the others might pull it first.


    Exactly, now everyone quit buying the stuff I want.

    The same happened to me late last year, but a customer service rep had no issues refunding the price difference over the phone.

    I dont know if their policies have changed since.

    if you want it, obviously buy it - but it's best if everyone just waited

    Uhhh, unless there's only one item left and you risk not getting it at all. That's like half of yoox stock.

    Maybe you should have bought it with a credit card with purchase price protection?
