I posted yesterday asking about backzip boots, which I first saw in the movie, Monster's Ball, Billy Bob Thornton's character wore them. Anyhow, after seeing the movie, I since became obsessed with them, and want opinions on brands, styles, places to find them, comments on whether they're a good boot, etc. Somebody must have something to say?

It's a pretty rare feature on men's boots. Hence, not many can comment on it I suspect. If done in a subtle way, so the color of the zipper corresponds with the leather, I can see it working without looking too "joe-hipster."

I see it a lot (or saw it a lot in LA, anyway.) And interesting variant on the side zip.
