Rudy: Let's have a bachelor party with chicks and guns and fire trucks and hookers and drugs and booze!
Gary: Yeah! Yeah yeah! All the things that make life worth living for!

Whatever you do, make sure you get plenty wasted. It helps to sway at the altar a bit--------deadens the nerves.

here's the thing - somebody will say not to bring hookers and/or strippers. that is silly talk. have women, and lots of liquor. and cigars. maybe light drugs. have fun.

You sir, are a very wise man. [IMG]

or you can go to a group poetry reading...

Perhaps you could bring the hot strippers to the group poetry reading.

Some poets really know how to party. It's the acolytes who are insufferable bores.

Some words for the prude who think that they are gentlemen:

"I have never allowed my duty as a gentleman to interfere with my pleasure in the slightest degree"

Oscar Wilde, "The Importance of Being Earnest"

"A man doesn't think he had a good time unless he has a headache the next morning"

"The hardest part about the 'next morning' is not the headache; it's the effort to recall what particular story you told your wife the night before"

"A man seldom escapes temptation because he is so careful not to let any interesting temptations escape him"

"It must be awful to live with a man after you have reformed him and he has become so superlatively good that you don't feel superior to him anymore"

"College boys are addicted to cigarettes and flirtations, bachelors to cigars and sweethearts; it takes a married man to get real joy out of anything so economical as a pipe or a wife"

Reflections of a Bachelor Girl, 1909

"Few women understand, at the outset, that in marrying, they have simply captured a wild animal, and staked their chances for future happiness on their ability to tame him. He is beautiful physically very likely, of pleasing manners and many external graces, and often possessed of noble qualities of mind and heart; but at the core of his nature he cherishes still his original savagery, the taming of which is to be the life work of the woman who has taken him in charge."

Letters from a Chimney Corner, 1886

lame is when women judge the actions of men.

I guess it just depends on the group of people. I threw a bachelor party for a friend of mine who was graduating med school at the time. Most of the people there were his med school friends. Maybe it was because of the germs/nastiness of the stripper experience, but they wanted no part of it. They couldn't smoke "anything" either because they were getting drug tested for their boards or something.

So, we had a great dinner, drank until the bars closed, and caused general after-bar mayhem on the streets until 3 or 4am. It was a fun time.

This party was the complete opposite of one that I went to for one of my law school classmates. He had no problems with strippers, pot, and being generally offensive for the entire evening. It was total raunch, and I honestly didn't have a very good time at all.

Meet you on Jerry Springer. I'll be the one with the Loch Ness monster tatooed 3 inches south west of my belly button.

As if they were exclusive dependent variables. How myopic.

Settle down children. Fabienne, Matador, don't think I won't turn this forum right around and go home...

as for strippers/hookers/drugs + poets... Charles Bukowski man. Charles Bukowski. If only you could mix betting on horses and disillusionment in there somewhere.
