Thinking about opening an account, but PayPal seems very entrenched on the forum.

Dwolla's big plus is its super low fee system. (25 cents max)

It would be cool to get a sizeable portion of the B&S over to Dwolla. This would probably mean lower B&S prices across the board.

Also, can current Dwolla users write about their experiences? (Brianpore, etc)

As an infrequent user of B&S, I would be willing to use Dwolla, but wouldn't pay for "Instant".

Hi, as being a person who has used Dwolla, I think its a very good concept but not 100% sure it would work on the forum, as it is a money transfer service (pay bills, send kids at college money, etc etc) and not really set up for e-commerce directly.

One major mistake I made though, is DO NOT try and use the "phone number / account number" when sending money. ONLY use the Dwolla email like you do with paypal. They try to make it easy with a phone number/ account number and that only confuses people, so just give out your email when you want to receive payment.

The only major downside with Dwolla, is that is is a money transfer service. There is no recourse or protection for the buyer. I would not use Dwolla with new members or members I do not trust with any kind of large payment (more then $15 maybe). There is no fall back to go "hey, didnt ship my shirt" etc. There are no tracking numbers needed to prove anything. This is like sending the person CASH!!!

That being said, it is a great way to get paid!
