Has anyone else seen Aziz's (Human Giant, Parks and Recreation) new comedy special? Dude is hilarious and you pretty much have to buy this DVD. Also, he's Tamil - like me - and that's awesome.

Amazon link for the DVD that's selling less than the dvd offering of the ventriloquist dude who was on that one episode of 30 Rock.

and he wears Band of Outsiders, no less.

I like this quite a bit:

Fun Fact: I turned down an audition for Transformers because the producers wanted a Kwik-E Mart accent.
Why he never did the Kwik-E Mart accent: That's not my thing. I don't do jokes about my uncle's thick Indian accent and how funny it is when he orders at McDonald's.

He's not nearly as funny as Russell Peters who does exactly that.

Russel Peters makes me laugh so hard I almost piss myself. But it's not just the ethnic jokes (of which he does a ton, and which are about every ethnicity); it's all his material.

I like Ansari, but he's not my favorite.

Peters cracks me up. Sometimes Aziz is hilarious, other times he falls flat on his face.

Keep in mind his "RAAAAAAAANDY" sketches are his alter-ego and are supposed to be too over the top to be really funny.

His latest stand up is priceless, though.

The bit where he makes fun of his fat cousin was hilarious. The rest was pretty flat. I can see him being fun to hang out with at the bar, but he's not a career stand-up comedian.

I'm 37. Why does everybody think I'm so old? Rube, who's 96, thought I needed Viagra, and I was sad.

i just watched this set. all the bits were stuff he's done on talk shows or in youtube so I didn't really laugh at all.

but upon seeing the bits on youtube or talk shows for the first time I did thing he was hilarious.

i'm torn, because it just wasn't funny put all together in one show... kinda like patton oswalt (whos really funny in interviews).

russell peters and louie ck can re do their old bits and its still funny as shit.

Randy stuff on youtube is genius. Not sure about the stand up or even his interviews--timing seems kinda off (nervousness?). But mostly good first time around. Also very funny/sympathetic in Parks and Rec.

    How about those suits, though?
