I don't know who makes them but damn right you should get free shipping with buy-it-now at that price!

I like most of the RLPL stuff (even the really theatrical, costumey things). But these just don't work. Somehow, alligator is simply wrong for the ends. They have no historical resonance or aesthetic balance. The overall effect recalls Tommy Hilfiger--trying too hard in all the wrong ways.
Yes, that's how I really feel.

I have a pair that are similar but look better. (Black w/purple pindots- anyone want 'em?)

Don't think I paid $300 new.

The guy is misrepresenting them.

He can certainly buy plenty of it, selling items at that kind of inflated price. He claims a MSRP of $800 - shurely shome mishtake?

I've seen braces with exotic skin ends before that were vintage so there were some historical precedents, possibly for some Deco French dandy but then isn't that where all the fantasy luxury goods originate?

It would behoove one to concur with LK in matters concerning all things vintage.

Good Gaawwd! Paying frighteningly high prices for shoes, sure. For suits, yeah. Shirts? Maybe. Suspeders?? Well, there's a sucker born every minute.
