Great stuff HF. There was an article in the FT magazine today about outlets that mentioned Bicester.

Sorry, not at present. The RLPL flannel chalkstripe is a 38R however!

And check the measurements on the Aquascutum jacket and compare it to one of your own - it might fit you!

Thank you! I was really pleased with this haul. I think some members are going to get some great deals here. Of course, I'm biased, so won't say more!

I knew I should have got more sizes in that one... most of the others available were considerably larger though.

To get you to buy it before I decide to keep it myself and get it shortened to a 38S?

Both the Aquascutum and the RLPL chalkstripe are more or less my size, with a bit of tailoring, so don't be surprised if they vanish from the sales list in time....

Measured against my (only) suit, and its too small. The RLPR is about what I clear per month after taxes and rent. Why did I go into the PhD program again?

If the 42L and the 40R could be averaged into a 40L, you'd have me dead to rights.
Nice stuff, HF.

So far it hasn't been quite as easy as I was hoping though....

I'm not sure wearing $4k suits will change that.

I may do a "PhD special" of some of my own great condition pre-owned stuff - (RLPL shirt, a couple Austin Reed MTM suits, maybe a Hackett jacket) later today at bargain prices if I get round to it. I really need to do a bit of wardrobe clearing.

Anyway, for today, the update to this thread is that the Aquascutum jacket is now sold, pending payment.

The RLPL and Black Label suits are still available and still gorgeous!

(I'm half hoping the 38R doesn't sell though...)

The suits remain available, ready for the membership to view this thread when they return to their desks and computers on Monday morning.
