1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

isn't the whole fucking point of raw denim to have the fades reflect your lifestyle and what you put in your pockets? what did you think was going to happen?

i thought about this while reading this thread...

it's almost like a history book. jeans with iphone fades represent a different era than jeans with nokia fades... or just wallet fades. or whatever. it's actually interesting, in a way.

It's not raw denim. It's a pair of Levis 514s.

It's not a piece of art "reflecting my lifestyle," it's an article of clothing, and I would prefer it didn't look like corned-shit. My lifestyle reflects my lifestyle. Or should I get full sleeve tattoos, quit my job and live in a fair trade coffee shop, writing a coming of age novel?

Thank you for the only constructive comment :) This is a good idea. Now just gotta buy a couple more pairs and break them in without anything in the pockets. Maybe I'll go dig a ditch in the back yard....

514's? I retract my previous comment, if you are buying that shit of a cut you truly have no hope.

What is your job? I need more information to make a judgment call but it is a distinct possibility the answer is yes.

If you are that worried about some Levi's getting some Iphone outlines then the outlines themselves should be the least of your worries.

This thread reminds me of my dislike of cellphones. I leave mine in the car/office/home unless I have a jacket. I despise anything in my pants pockets. I think my friends and family can wait 30 minutes before I check my phone. They seemed to be fine with it 25 years ago.

As for advice, that's mine. Store the phone off your body if you can.

But really, I feel this should have been solved by now.

A leather sleeve like the ones from Makr should do the trick

Since it hasn't been resolved yet I also want to suggest fanny packs as another intricate solution to the problem. Especially that rick fanny from 09 with the studs would look pretty badass and keep unnecessary bulges out of your jeans.
