I've been using Aveda in my hair recently and I've noticed improved shine and manageability.

Highly recommended.

No, I don't work for Aveda.

I don't care too much for their shampoo and conditioner, but control paste and their leave-in straightner are very nice...

I've been using their stuff for 3-4 years. I've tried various stuff, but their volumizing shampoo and conditioner (Pure Abundance I think it's called?) is really good at adding some size to my extremely fine hair. I also use the Light Elements Defining Whip, which doesn't weigh my hair hair down to the scalp like most products. And I like how almost all their stuff smells. But Aveda makes so much different stuff that you definitely have to make sure you get products that are appropriate for your hair type, otherwise your results may vary.

The smell of their products can be a distraction, esp. the styling products. You can smell some of their gels/pomades across the room.
