Please help me -- I want to buy some Red Monkey Jeans -- what are some good places (that I can trust) that I can buy these jeans? Thank you in advance.

Save your money and don't bother

But if you really want to, there is a store, I forget what it's called though. But they sell RMC and they should be trustworthy. I think that www.kitmeout.com do it on their store too?

Thanks, Tabris... that seems like a good website!
I am, admittedly, a newbie when it comes to jeans... I would love it if you or anyone else would chime in with why it might be better to go with a different brand? Red Monkeys are expensive, but... are there other considerations I'm missing? Are these jeans "played out"? "Yesterdays news" as it were? What do you foresee as the next best thing out there on the horizon when it comes to jeans? I don't want to buy a pair of jeans for $500 or $600 and then tomorrow they're already outdated... actually, until yesterday I thought 7 for All Mankind jeans were the best because that's what I see all the PYTs wearing at the mall...

Hmmmm... that's an interesting question! I've never really thought of it that way... I'm just a boring white guy from the suburbs of Washington, D.C. holding down a 9-5 so... I guess I don't really need street cred because I'm never really on the "streets" per se... I'll take Tangerine's advice and do some more research... and also check out the Blue Tigers per Sygyzy's (can I buy a vowel that isn't a 'y'?) advice. Who knew that there was a world of jeans out there besides Abercrombie and Lee and Levi and Gap and Seven for All Mankind... this streetwear forum is quite interesting! (Oh - is there an upper-age limit for wearing certain jeans? i.e., would a 35 year old guy look silly in Red Monkey or Blue Tiger? Just asking...)

Denim for people with too much money

1.Pure Blue Japan AI-001

2. 45RPM Jomon (The Umii would do the job nicely too)

3. Kicking Mule Workshop ($600 but 20% off via Denimbar, 50 made?) (link1) (link2 - click product for some pics)

4. Oni (also made in small quantities, pics are on the dead sf) super slubby denim that looks like the KMA ones, also purple selvage, available at Blue In Green.

Umm... I don't know what else. I saw the Evisu Deluxe in person and they weren't the least bit impressive.

They may not be popular to some, but RMC would not exist if people were not buying the clothing.

DJPremium.com carries Red Monkeys, and if you sign-up for their mailing list they'll send you a 20% off cupon in your inbox.

P.s. are baboons monkeys or apes? I can never remember. I guess their tail makes them monkeys?

Are you kidding? You guys made fun of the print on the juicy courture shirt I posted, but think those jeans are acceptable? lol... those things are hideous. Graphics on jeans = bad. And $600.00 = worse. You know you can buy Versace, D&G, etc jeans for $300.00.

If you notice, no one else in this thread was interested in those jeans except the original poster...
