Hey guys, I've recently encountered this Roberto Cavalli t-shirt that I'm interested in on eBay, and I'm not quiet sure if it's authentic or a fake. Could anybody inform me about this?

I want to say "fake" because it's incredibly tacky even for Cavalli, but then there is too much work put into it with beads, prints, etc... Paging Prof. Fabulous for some help.

It's hard to tell from those pics, but I'm betting FAKE as well just given the overall presentation of the shirt.

I've never been a Cavalli fan; he tries to be "romantic" and care-free but just comes across as douchey and tacky with suspect design overall.

What about the tags...I mean has anybody bought a Roberto Cavalli t-shirt. Does the tags look authentic, just like in the shops?

And also...has anyone seen a Roberto Cavalli t-shirt similar to this one?...I mean like t-shirts are usually affiliated to Just Cavalli, while Roberto Cavalli are usually affiliated to shirts and suits. So with that in mind..what do you think? Authentic or fake?

A few posters on this thread have already mentioned that they believe it to be fake. The pics given don't help to identify, because they are taken from a distance and not high resolution.

How much are they asking for the shirt? A real Cavalli shirt with that much decoration would probably be nearly $400, so if this shirt is being advertised as new and is very cheap, that should be an indication.

In any case, I'd avoid it.

Fake. I own a couple of cavalli shirts. As decorated as they are, they are not as decorated as this one. Also I don't think cavalli makes shirts that have graphics on the front and the back.

Hello to everyone, my first post here!

As for the shirt, I think it could be a fake, too.
It's unlike for Cavalli main line to have a side tag; furthermore I own a couple of great Cavalli t-shirts from three or four seasons ago, the label on the neck is different (although I actually don't know whether he changed it recently) and the overall quality is far from what it looks like from the pics.

PS:
Sorry for my bad English, I'm from Italy

Alright...thanks for the help guys, thx for your comments. It's selling for $100, it's pretty cheap, so I guess it's a fake after all.

P.S. MyHeartIsMyProphet, your english is very good btw.
