IMO the trees dont fit your shoes.

The trees are top notch, just not meant for the Alden LWB. Trees serve dual purpose to absorb moisture and retain the shape of the last, if they are not snug or fit neither will happen ...

Oh I see, I thought he ordered the trees to fit those shoes, those look like the normal shell creasing. Regular Vass trees doesn't fit snug in that area either.

Oh I see, I thought he ordered the trees to fit those shoes, those look like the normal shell creasing. Regular Vass trees doesn't fit snug in that area either.

to shed some light on this. td is taking part in the friendly user phase.

he has sent the shoes to me and i delivered them personally. i discussed with mr. berta, if he can make trees for them. he explained to me that he can copy trees for shoes, where the lasts are similar to the last shapes he is producing. so td and i deceided to give it a try. i have handled them before they've been sent to td. he had the possibility to step back, if the outcome wouldn't be to his satisfaction and refuse them. he has been charged after he received them and confirmed his enthusiasm.

in an ideal world you have access to the original last hence the model is still in the friendly user phase.

Who is the gentleman in the 2nd picture? the last one in dark...scotch is surely a standout

I'm little surprised as mine all are pretty snug, infact I do have to use some force to take them out...

it is lajos. a long time companion of the company, who alread worked for Mr. Kálmán Berta senior.

he and his friend stopped by to say hello and bring in their knowledge to attain results, which can standout.
