    Both are really nice.

In the oxford I like the way everything matches, the grain and reg. leather in the laces area matches the wt / vamp area. all brogue lines and curves are almost perfectly paralel, it's very pleasant visually, my wingtip is not like that, never seen a wingtip like that.

That made sense?, maybe I need help here, again, sorry for my bad shoe vocabulary, DWFII would hate to read this.

Have the same shoe, but in smooth not grain, and they're my most complimented shoes. It's the handy 'lake' stitching that catches the eye, I reckon. Character shoes.

I jus realized the EG chelsea at the left looks insipid up against the AH. Deflated, weak. Oh well.

    cheers, it's a pleasure. F you've always said it's a great shoe, and I agree.

you know, I like the Vass monk style a lot. Is this a trad AH thing or not? I'm surprised the single doesn't get more love on the Vass thread.

i didn't actually know it and yes it is nice. see me surprised, too. a lot of good questions are coming up and i'll ask mr. materna a few of them, when i see him next. in the meantime, we're stuck with my experiences. i wouldn't say, it's a trad thing(see above regarding questions). i have these coming soon. probably keep them myself. [IMG] and i saw this bespoke number in materna's shop. imo, they are AH with a english twist. they are amazing. [IMG] [IMG]
