    Very interesting. They seem to have tightened back up around the last quite nicely.

    To be clear, you left them out on the balcony intentionally, to let the moisture and changing conditions cause the leather to tighten back up on the last? Did they receive direct rain or is your balcony covered? How will you finish them at this point? (Tell me very lightly - please!!!!!)

    Thank you so much for sharing the pictures, and for doing a few at a time so that we may absorb them fully.

    actually, these are lasted trees. i have them in various sizes and shapes.

    yes intentionelly. didn't change much of the shape. they have been in a good condition. i used two or three different pairs of trees, though. no direct rain. maybe a few drops once in a while.

    i haven't decided on a finish yet. i used blue wax, which gives a brownish hue. will post pictures in a few weeks time then.
