1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Ok, I´m buying it. My granpa, died in 1975 also started a small shoe bussiness in Spain in the 40s and finished having 150 workers!

We had all the basement full of that wooden last, tons, wasted on the chiminee, shame!!! I have a couple of them!

Any recommendations for relatively inexpensive bootmakers in Budapest? Somewhere I can get all the necessary fitting work done in a 4-5 day trip.

I have a copy of the Vass book and I like it a lot, he talks a lot about eastern European styles rather than the English and American ones you find in Roetzel.

I think it is a bit strange however that he doesn't mention the wood pegged construction method even though many of the pictures in his book are of that type of shoe, and they seem to be common in the Austro-Hungaran school.

How much do you want for these? Should fit a US 12.5 or so, right?
