Re dinner suit, if you had more time but online from Marks and Spencer. It may not be "sf approved" but it is Thomas Mahon approved and I'd take his recommendation over this lot any day.

Only 2 days left for the members tie owners to get a first (or second) entry in the competition on the affiliate page. Just post a good image of you wearing it on the affiliate page and have the chance to win another free tie of your choice, cashmere scarf or 3 pair of pantherella socks.

any thoughts on this as an odd jacket?

I think it would be ok. The fabric looks a bit textured and it also has patch pockets .Since its navy you can easily get away with this one as odd jacket. I would pair this with khaki or grey pants.
**Worst case scenario you can always change the buttons to miss match the jacket color.

Hey – any of you guys looking at making a purchase from Mont Blanc in the foreseeable future? I have a store credit which I am unlikely to use to the value of 4K

Sadly, I'll have to pass on this one. Can't tie a tie right now, let alone put together a nice 'fit.

Hi Charlie,

Has there been any progress on getting enough interest in another run of the members' ties? They look terrific.

Cheers mate!

Not a very versatile jacket. Not saying you shouldn't buy it but beware the cotton/linen fabric makes it a summer only proposition. The creasing in the fabric means it won't go with a pair of grey flannel pants, if that's the look your're after. It's already starting to crease in the arms after being worn by the model...

You could get away with it as weekend wear with a pair of cotton chinos and an open necked shirt in summer but I'd advise you against wearing it as a "city" jacket, or pairing it with warmer fabrics in general.
