Depends on the oxford. The white Thomas Mason oxford I got the shirt for my dinner suit made in is anything but informal.

WAR - Cisco Kid ( Was a Friend of Mine)

This sort of funk is thin on the ground these days. One of my fav tracks from WAR LIVE - one of the top 10 live albums.

    Get in the groove

Oxford is very versatile - some oxfords say summer is here - others seem all wintery and tweedy.
Its a great business shirt as an BD with tie slightly down from a suit but up from casual.
    Will work for formal.
Its strength - the solid chunky texture is also its negative if you want a sleek, shiney, smooth look.

One of the few shirts that look good worn and frayed.

I noticed some summer jackets and pants made from oxford -haven't seen them in person ............

I've been through Aesop Moroccan Neroli (good but too expensive), Kiehls white eagle (excellent but not all that cheap either), and a few English brands, as well as a few brands of shave oil. I've settled on the King of Shaves sensitive skin gel, as well as one of their razors. I have really sensitive skin and have to shave every day for work, and it's going well...
