    Yah yah thanks all for your responses to my Oxford Cloth question. I needed a plain/formal white shirt for weddings, interviews, occasional work wear, and I was debating whether my preferred Oxford Cloth was appropriate (this is for a spread collar / no pocket or placket sort of configuration). In the end I decided Oxford Cloth would be fine.

    This is the problem re: oxfords.

    Also, its a touch informal... I try to avoid it with CBD outfits.

    ^^ Yeah that's true. Wish I could get my hands on some decent cotton/linen shirts that fit...

    I should clarify that I had one made up with fc/ spread/ no pocket (I always have a placket for non formal shirts) and I certainly do wear it to all of those things, however it isn't my go-to choice.

    Hi gents, can anyone pls tell me where I can find good quality, light wool (merino or cashmere) turteneck (like the one in the picture) to wear under a suit ? in Melbourne ?

    Broadcloth / Poplin. I love fil a fil (end on end) too.

    Being in Queensland I'm trying to move away from Oxfords for heat reasons but I haven't really settled for anything.
