Gents, I'm selling a Herringbone sports jacket (unaltered, size 42) I bought a few years back. It's a shade lighter than the navy they use in their core suiting range. It also has navy elbow patches. My body shape has changed quite a bit since then so it doesn't get a lot of wear nowadays.

Admins, apologies if I should've posted this in buying/selling, however I thought it probably made more sense to let the Australian members know.

PM me for photos if you're interested and we can discuss pricing etc.

Haha!! Seeing as we work in the same building Gerry, I should bring over some of my shoes and you could have something to do during lunchtimes. :nodding:

too good Gerry, too good.

Thanks, Sliq! I think thebrownman did a better job with his Hallams a few pages back though. Always room to improve

Gerry. I hope you are not using those mirror toes to look up women's skirts?
fxh, my friend's father always told her never to trust a man in patent leather shoes for that exact reason. At this point, they're only good for examining the underside of my desk.

Gerry your photos always seem to have a pinkish hue. Any idea what is going on there?

I have read an article from a dry cleaner on the Forvm that stated to never hang higher-end suits in the shower to remove creasing and whatnot, as it nullifies the ironwork done to a garment during it's construction, and has the potential to burst seams.

That was Jeffrey D who also runs a very interesting blog, examines the inside construction of suits and explains technical details. I think he's a tailor who works for high end mtm and rtw operations.

So here is a question: If you were only allowed to wear Oxford Cloth shirts for the rest of time, how big of a problem would that be?
