Ok, blahman, what would you pick as the typical SF Men's Clothing uniform?

We already know the shoes now tell us the rest [IMG]

I saw those industrie jumpers and was almost sucked in by the 100% merino tag since I'm in the market for a knit. I was in there since I have a $250 store credit (old bday present...) to spend.

I would be interested to know how it works out. I always worry about piling with cheaper wool jumpers. I'm wondering if I should just spend an extra $80 on one from Epaulet though that is almost certain to hold up well.

Dub monks are one of those things that you rarely see salivated over outside of SF circles. It seems that even the so called fashiony people would rather go for full brogues in tan with their stupid skinny jeans.

Also it appears that SFer like the POW check quite a bit to go with the loud not so matchy matchy pocket hankies. And then there's the pant cuff fetish.

Industrie can be surprisingly good for slim fit stuff if you're not looking for quality that will last a lifetime (which I seldom am in casual stuff). Of course they also have large quantities of rubbish..

How much were the merinos? I'd be interested to compare them to the Lewin ones which I've been pretty happy with. Were these v-neck or crew?

Heres the Knit guys. Surely one of you is in need of something warm but not chunky in this weather!

I have just noticed the low arm holes though so it might be an issue for those high arm hole obsessives!!!

Manuhiri, I really like the one you've chosen - more so than the original one.

I second this. That's fucking nice, man! Really nice.

Also, Gerry, nice work on the polishing. Here's one I prepared back in December (C&J Hallam)

Melbourne iGents the wife would like to thank you for the restaurant suggestions she said MoVida Next Door was a stand out her and colleagues enjoyed.

Mind you she came and home and one of the first things she asked was would I consider living in Melbourne again.

They look lovely, thebrownman! Really fine job. I love the depth of the shine of the toes but also the glow on the rest of the leather.

Anyone got a good aftershave recommendation? I'm looking for something classic. (Also, something that smells nice ha ha.)

If it's for work, you might be able to tax deduct it [IMG]
