1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Average for Meermin, decent if you don't have any quality control issues.

Another SF member has the exact same shoe. Just look back several pages. You can PM him for feedback.

Meermin is great value for money. But there are quality control issues as stated by joiji. Just check out the Meermin thread.

IMO, even with quality control issues, they are still value for money. AUD$250 will get you a Herring brogue (made by Loake) which has inferior leather, or a blobby Allen Edmonds on sale at 40% off currently at Lands End, or a Septieme Largeur (made in Portugal), or Ed Et Al made in Vietnam. That's without shoe trees except for Herring.

He means if they dont come with any issues that should have been pcicked up by Meermin before leaving. Some of the classic models have arrived with scuffs, splitting soles etc.

So if yours look good- well done!

Christian is a member of StyleForum, although I can't remember his SF username at present. He's previously posted in this thread.

Here are a couple of photos of today's outfit - Deer Style shirt, printed silk tie by gshen (now Vanda), Brioni jacket in navy with subtle light brown and dark brown windowpane checks, Deer Style trousers, Ferragamo Tramezza chukka boots, and "Whitehall" top-frame briefcase by Swaine Adeney Brigg.

Looks good, especially the briefcase, not sure about the Swedish socks though...

BTW, our trip to Japan just got cancelled!! I was so looking forward to checking out shoes by Scotch Grain and Koji Suzuki's Spigolas...

I've got a black Speck two material case on my S3, it's a bit bulky but it's the best case I could find if you're afraid of dropping it. Two materials (hard and soft plastic) together somehow do some serious shock absorbing.

The way that jacket sits sickens me to my very core.

If they were my size I'd be all over them. I have a pair of deadstock GAT's, and I fall in love with them more and more as they start to show signs of wear. The leather on MMM's iteration is suppose to be fantastic, and the cream printed version is my favourite.
