. How so? It was just pretty flappy unrestrained, was all.

No big deal really. I tend to wear them with the French Knot so the ends don't dangle through the jacket.

Today's rainy ANZAC day outfit:

Details:

Cardigan: Hackett shawl collar cardigan
T-shirt: K-mart

Jeans: Uniqlo selvedge
Boots: RM Williams Comfort Craftsman

God, I'd forgotten about that ... had a night out on the town where I was particularly 'inspired' to write that piece!

I was looking through the blog of one our forum members last night and saw this.

Very true and well written by someone who's got it together!

I just received a new suit from Rene at Deer Style, and so I thought that I'd post a couple of pictures of it. The pictures are courtesy of the Deer Tumblr blog. Deer also has a Blogspot blog here - with more (albeit older) content.

I chose a rather casual style for this suit, as I've already got a lot of business wear. So, I decided upon a woollen cloth in a light, quite airy weave in a sand colour. The jacket has three patch pockets and a "three-roll-to-two" lapel. The trousers (not shown in the photos) are plain front, with belt loops.

The buttons are brown horn, and the lapel buttonhole is hand-stitched.

I'm very much looking forward to wearing it, perhaps with a sky blue shirt, brown silk print tie, and a pair of brown shoes - maybe even spectators.

Looks nice mate, I'd hate to be a "suit" in Brisbane in summer, this looks like it's well suited to it, albeit a little late for the season. That's one ofnthe things I love about Canberra, we have a proper winter and can dress accordingly. It was 2 degrees this morning already.
