Yes, still on for lunch tomorrow.

Still to decide on venue (the pressure!), Trevisio (http://www.treviso.com.au/Menu.html) or The Mitre (http://www.mitretavern.com.au/pub/index.htm)?

Am thinking Trevisio might be better as it looks like it might be a little easier to get a table and turn up casually. Also, if people wanted to confirm we could maybe to a group booking for ease and speed (http://www.treviso.com.au/Group_Lunches.html), though thought it might be nice if people could just up if they were able/could.

Anyone have any input or preference on this (thebrownman, you seem to have experience with both.).?

Those that showed interest - Pink Socks, Gerry Nelson, Jimbosaraus, thebrownman and lennier. Have I missed anyone or are other interested?

Quick confirmations if possible and will send final details either here or by PM at end of the day (once the feedback is in).

12.30pm tomorrow (Wednesday 11th April) at one of the above venues, Melbourne.

    Looking forward to it.

Still a good chance I will be able to make it. I think Appolyon was on the interested list too if I recall. Having been to both I'd probably suggest Treviso as a better option, space and food wise. Upstairs steak house at the Mitre is great but their downstairs stuff is average and the seating potentially rather cramped for a group.

Appolyon! Damn, thanks Lennier...Appolyon - my apologies, thought I had typed you in...not forgotten my shoe lace man I promise...

One vote for Treviso, with good reason....

    Any more thoughts or interest?

I've got to pass. Rolled my ankle at on the weekend so I'm limiting any unnecessary walking.

For future reference thick socks and boots provide nice compression for such an injury.

Hey Jimbosaurus, sorry to hear about the ankle. Hope you're back on your feet soon.

Pink Socks, Treviso sounds like a good bet based on what Lennier says. We can always have the next(!) one at The Mitre :)

I can vouch for Treviso, it's great place to eat. Keep an eye out for their pizza of the day!

On another note: I see an emergence of pocket squares happening. Been out and about in the city and have seen a couple of guys rocking the square.

For the future I suggest no socks and thin derbies. Will promote natural movement and strengthen ankles for good pose in the long run.

Shipping is very reasonable. Seems like a flat rate of 5 Euros. 17 Euros per pair of socks with VAT taken out. That's cheaper than the stuff you get from Herringbone. And available in so many colours!

    PS. you're all bloody fops!

Thought I'd join CEP and others with some photos. Here is what i wore today. Useless as fit pics, unfortunately, as I can't figure out how to get that with ipad or smartphone. These were taken with the ipad held in my hands, hence the sleeve wrinkling. Photo suggestions welcome, but I can't manage my SLR just yet.

I've had a meeting cancelled, so I can come. No prefs as to venue.
