Even having more shooz than there are days in the week 3 times over won't satiate you for any good length of time. Sooner or later you might even venture down the path of purple velvet shooz.

I don't know, it just feels different this time. It's like every shoe I look at now that I like is just a version of a shoe I already own. This is what I have now:

    • Black cap toe oxford
    • Dark brown perforated cap toe oxford
    • Brown chestnut semi-brogue oxford
    • Brown tobacco suede semi-brogue oxford
    • Dark brown full brogue oxford
    • Dark brown wholecut oxford with medallion toe cap
    • Brown chestnut single monk
    • Brown chestnut pebble grain wingtip brogue derby
    • Burgundy cordovan long wing
    • Dark brown penny loafer
    • Brown cordovan penny loafer (on the way)
    • Brown expresso suede chukka boots
    • Dark brown chelsea boots
    • Black chelsea boots
    • Brown expresso suede double monk
    • Brown calf double monk

I get excited about what pair I'm going to wear the next day :)

We'll see how it goes but as I wrote, this feels different. Also, there's no place in my shoe rack ...

I don't see red blue and green shooz and you're missing a pair of plain toes oxfords.

You're right about the plain toed oxfords - I saw this post and thought about it but the black ones just don't grab me and the brown ones are too similar to my Weymouths. I'd passed on a pair of C&J Wembleys on ebay some time ago for that reason but hey, never say never, I guess.

For some reason, plain toe bluchers don't appeal to me either.

I like my tan Loake Kemptons with jeans. I got them for about $250 at the South Melbourne market, but Herring, Pediwear or AFPOS would be worth checking too.

^^ Herring is especially good if you're not in any hurry. Check their clearance section from time to time and you'll find stuff at half price. Not too long ago saw some sick pair of navy suede chukas and White soles at a bagain.

+1 for Loakes - I have a brown suede pair of Pimlico boots form Loake. picked them up through AFPOS on special and they go well with jeans, chinos, etc.

Thanks to everyone who gave some insight. I will of course verify what I can with Christian. It would be a real shame if they've gone fused as it would make me reluctant (justifiably or not) to spend the sort of money they want (even on sale). A decent OTR fit might outweigh that in the end though. More FWP.

If you watch out the English and US end of winter sales usually produce some good bargains in the way of winter knitwear.

Since I can't buy anything, might as well look at some Japanese porn and see what else those guys have to offer:

About $500. Price of a pair of C&Js:

And for a little over $700, you get it hand welted:

And also... Shirts in Thomas Mason cotton retails full price @ about $100, with good chance of 50% off at sale time...

Hmmm nice water resistant 90%Wool/8%nylon/2%Cashmere navy overcoat with Extrafine Lambswool inner layer woven by Abraham Moon and Sons?
Would set you back about $210:

Unlined Moon tweed sportscoats going for $150 too...

    Now I'm just depressed.
