Once they get to 50% off they begin to approach good value.
Prowling the streets of Sydney to find Rhodes and Beckett has 25% off shirts.
Can anyone please shed some light as to when I should expect a package from Hong Kong? This is that the mail tracking link says:
8-Feb-2012 Hong Kong Item posted and is being processed.
8-Feb-2012 Hong Kong The item arrived at processing centre.
10-Feb-2012 Hong Kong The item left Hong Kong for its destination on 10-Feb-2012
12-Feb-2012 Australia Arrived and is being processed.
12-Feb-2012 Australia Pending customs inspection.
12-Feb-2012 Australia In transit.
Does this mean it's already passed through customs and is ready for delivery?
It's going to your nearest depot now.
I wish they'd hurry up and discount the navy PoW check slim fit suit they have at the moment. it fits perfectly straight off the rack, but I'm being tight and don't want to pay $999 for it.
100% agree - nice suit.
i checked my email last week - I think if you sign up to there on-line newsletter they give you like a $50 off your next online purchase.
Hi gents, in this forum I hear many good things about Rhodes and Beckett , Herringbone and Mj Bale. And the price for all these brands are quite expensive compare to buying branded shirts/suits form US some times with huge discounts. So just wondering how do they compete with brands with similar prices(buying form US discount stores) ?
Thanks and have a wonderful Monday !
I feel like if you have access to the less expensive US counterparts, it might be better value for money. Just my opinion.
Here's the Paolo Albizzati tie I bought at the Heny Buck's sale. It's wool with an unlined tip:
Went into DJ today on Bourke and found these http://www.pediwear.co.uk/loake/products/2164.php in black in my size! And they were the last pair
$459 reduced to $229 reduced to $180 with 20% staff discount! Very happy!
That's a nice score. Any other good Loakes on discount there?
Not that I remember, but I'm going back tomorrow to pick up my MJ Bale suit. $800 including pant alterations, not a great deal but meh...it was the best I could find without stepping up to Canali etc.
Carmina dubmonks on the Inca arrived today!!! They were posted on 8 Feb and on my feet by the 13th! Awesome customer service from Alan at The Armoury. They're the same size as my C&J shoes and were comfortable off the bat although I expected them to be a little too big - they're shorter in length than my Monktons but a little wider.
I'm a happy camper!
Loakes tend to be on sale quite often over the last 6 months at least. I often see them at about a little Over $200 a pair. DJ stocks way too many chunky models at G widths though.
Who says you cannot get good quality shirts shipped cheaply in Australia?
More stuff (camel overcoats, Church's shoes, suits, polo shirts, Derek Rose pyjamas) to follow.
