Declic usually has quite a range of coloured socks - might be a bit OTT for some, though.
Forget brightly coloured socks, I was after a pair of plain burgundy socks in DJs - among the rails of Happy Socks and Bonds there was not one pair. The closest I could find was a pair of Paul Smith socks with silver sparkes in the thread for $40.
Still, first world problems...
Great looking Carminas, Jimbo.
Is that the Simpson or Inca Last DubMonk?
Check out The Armoury on-line store: they have dark green, burgundy, orange, purple etc.
Scoured nearly the whole of the Sydney CBD looking for these, but to no avail.
Like you say: FW Problems...
And they wonder why Australian retailers are going broke... it's a sorry state of affairs when you have to buy decent quality socks from o/seas...
Thanks for the tip CEP.
That's the Simpson last.
The double monks look really nice.
Try Bexley for socks - they're a French brand who make, for some people, reasonable goodyear welted shoes. I wouldn't buy them for myself - even though I have to live on a Uni student budget.
I'm not sure about shipping rates to Oz, but mail forwarding options will exist and they sell nice ribbed socks in many different colours. They're quite reasonably priced, too.
Bexely shipping cost is ridiculously high.
Pakeman Catto and Carter socks used to be my go to before they closed their Edinburgh branch. Socks in a range of colours and pattern both calf length and over. Decent price and last for ages. Google them if interested.
Search up the thread for Viccel socks on Styleforum. They have socks in over the calf and over the knee in heaps of basic colours, and they're only $8 or so a pair with the styleforum discount. I don't own a pair myself but I plan to soon.
I get most of my socks from Pantherella in David Jones. They are like $10 a pair at sale time.
Guys, I need to proxy something from the US. What is the best proxy service to use? Any recommendations?
i used priceusa as a proxy for some nikeid's. good service and well priced. i chose the slowest shipping option so it took a while though.
I get most of my socks from Best and Less or Brands United.
