Sir Stamford is nice...mind you, I usually end up at the Intercontinental. The view from the 31st floor in the mornings is quite spectacular.

Second the sentiments above and stay at CQ you'll have a far better time the options there are limitless if you have time a ferry to Manly for fish and chips is fun or else ferry out to Watson's Bay. And also with the city train loop you get get up town quick,, also if you do want to go to Paddington or Darlo the walk from Kiings Cross isn't that bad during the day and its faster r than the buses, the congestion in the city is absurd at any time of the week.

John Waters - hes out here at the moment too.

John Waters: When I was 19 I wanted to be Little Richard, and so I grew it in homage to him really. I wanted to be the only white man in America who had one, and I still might be, really.

JR:Does it take a lot of work? Are there any implements or gages involved?

JW: No, you just shave it every day. I don't even realise I have a moustache anymore, I've done it for so long. I just shave it from the top every day, clip it about twice a week from the bottom, and if I miss I just draw it on!

I did Movember 2 years ago. I looked like a sex offender. Good conversation starter, not very good for pulling women.

The MO on the coach of the French rugby team cant be beat.

Pure sleaze. A level of sleaze which one can only aspire to and covet.

This confirms what anyone in Melbourne already know....people with genuine style, taste and class all live north of the river. The south is just for cashed-up bogans.

BTW I raided Oxford's mid-season sale today and picked three polo shirts in non-primary colours (pink, lilac and powder blue) with no logos for $70.

I hope you, and others have noted that I haven't made any comment.

    Not one..........................
