What does your order status say CHECKstar? A few of us got ours quite a while ago...

A Filson bag and what looks like a P Johnson Tailors suit (if my knowledge of the details is correct?) in Melbourne. Great look - well done. This has got to be a SF member. (Actually this, in different colours and patterns, is my uniform now too, hope I look this sharp).

Haha, yes - that's Matt. I hope he doesn't take offence at me mentioning his name on here. Not sure if he's on Style Forum.
Genuinely nice chap, though.

He actualy works in my building; I always feel vastly inadequate when I walk past him... plus what makes things worse its always when I am wearing an older, crappier suit. :embar:

Shipped... I am not one to complain about this sort of thing, so I am taking it with an 'easy come, easy go' atttude.

I presume by 'cheeky' you mean 'free'...just wanted to mention that I got mine for the higher price minus the voucher amount, which worked out to about $14 IIRC, and it was well worth it. What a lovely piece of inherently useless but very pretty silk. So, either way...

Fair enough. Perhaps it disappeared from your letterbox? It was just a normal envelope with a pocket square stuffed inside.

I don't. Oxfords should be worn with socks IMO. Loafers are different.
Don't let fxh see that photo...he'll go completely ballistic.

I just clicked on that second link.

I've had to get a brown paper bang to breathe into for a while and have a cup of tea and a little lie down.

I'll be back.

Where do you Aussie gents get your cedar shoe trees from???
I've got some RM williams boots (and buying a 2nd pair soon) and want to use the trees, atleast for black dress pair.

I think RM advises against boot trees.

Some one who has a few pairs, meister or sator, might know more.

Mine are all cuban heeled and a few years old - rarely wear them now and they've never seen shoe tree.

Mine didn't arrive either after a week and a half, so I emailed and asked where it was. They replied apologising and saying it had been shipped the day before.

A week later a R&B lady called me saying she was calling in response to my email. I said I still hadn't received the PS. She apologised again and said she would ship it out the next day (obviously it was never actually shipped before this conversation). I received it yesterday.

So they have clearly had some issues over there, it's probably worth sending them an email.

Thanks for reply. hmm I've heard this too. I want my chestnut pair to strectch out a little, will shoes trees help this??? After that though, ill let them be to get that rustic look. I will likely use them with my (upcoming) black pair as I want them a bit more dressy.
Get shoe trees from endless.com, they offer free shipping for orders > $100.

Just picked up the fifth avenue for $250 shipped
Thanks mate, I bought two pairs (i hope they come in pairs) of woodlore. I saw some allen edmonds ones there but only in tiny or extra-L, apparently they are the same as the woodlore anyway plus a badge. You, of course, are responsible for me buying a new pair of sperry top-siders to make up the $100 for free shipping :tounge:

I am the exact same size!
Wow, perhaps 89cm sleeves for me, though.
Either way, wow.

We wear the same size in HB suits too ;)

I really want to buy that mid-grey off you but I already have the same material but with peak lapels and the belt-loop-less side tabs so I can't justify it :(

I used to wear RMs when I was on the farm all the time, as well as later in life when I was a rock dog in Santa Fe s etc. RMs always fit tight at first. After they wear in they are the best fitting boot of all time. If after wearing them in after a while they still feel tight , unlikely, you can slather them with conditioner on the spots that are tight then wear them around or take them to a good cobbler who can put them on the stretching machine.
