1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

@Gerry Nelson have you sprayed any sort of suede protector onto your own A1?

My Valsar is completely unlined meaning that it won't be all that warm. I might just keep it for a sunny day jacket.

Nah, I've decided to treat it like my suede shoes and brush it down as needed.

While we are talking bags, here is my daily companion of the last several years (with a more recent addition to the wardrobe). [IMG]

I have three bags which depending on the situation and requirements are used.

Filson Field Satchel my 50th birthday present from Mrs GF

My Vintage Messenger Bag from Whipping+Post

Excellent for toting iPad, portable chargers note pads and books along with glasses etc. Perfect companion for a day at the AWM, NLA or NAA

And this except its in black t DJ's years ago. Good for HR work not too pretentious but professionally functional.

Each have this use and purpose, mind you the FFS does make people sit up and take notice.

FYI the PayPal reimbursed returns program I posted about earlier works great. Just received 45$ into my account within 3 days of making my claim.

Just don't forget to take a picture of the package with the address written on it before sending (check the t&cs)

GE is certainly no style icon, but regardless of what anyone else sez, I think Gabi is totally hot.

    And there is a problem?

    This sounds interesting.

    +1.

Oops late to the party - yes that's the brand Ernie. They still make that style of case but I haven't seen it with nickel hardware only brass online. Picked it up in Florence many moons ago...

Don't forget SBS Insight @ 8.30 pm tonight on Homelessness.

Wear For Success dressed the Melbourne bloke* and woman.

I dressed the bloke @ 07 secs on promo. He had a good idea of how he wanted to appear.

That's not half the story. When I picked it up the owner chased me down the street. Luckily he wasn't wearing socks for Pitti so he got blisters and I got away with his bag.

Oh I walked past them down Bourke Street Mall not too long ago, they looked disappointingly normal that day.
