1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

    Definitely the green one:

    1. It's such a rich deep shade of delicious green thats bound to attract compliments from the ladies and scorn from the lesser male pleb coworkers.
    2. You dont see many green overcoats do you?

I do like that shade of green, I must admit. That lady that matters has already enthused over it. The beta males at work probably do not care enough to even bother with scorn.

that is a great shade of green, unless an equally compelling burgundy is an option then green for sure.

Sadly they went up with weight gain, but didn't go down at all with weight loss (didn't help that I put most of it back on). Possibly genetic, Dad told me that he went up at my age.

You could try our orchestral concert at the Melbourne Recital Centre on Sunday 5 July. Even if you're not a huge fan of classical music, I assure you that Mahler's Symphony no. 1 is a pretty amazing experience when heard "live". And the MRC is most definitely one of the world's great concert halls.

Just checked my bank statement. Last purchase was made on 9th March. 2 months of no clothing purchases. But will admit spent $370 in alterations during this time. Maybe time for that Howard Yount grey flannel suit !
This was the last purchase actually.

Another new-to-sydney question: Any SF-approved dry cleaners for suits/sports jacket?? CBD or Inner West would be great!

Unfortunately they weren't ready in time for me to pick them up (I was in Shanghai last week).

Bonita has told me they will ship to Australia when the shoes are ready. Could be another 2-3 weeks.

have 600 doll hair's worth of credit at sunglass hut. What would you guys go for? I'm thinking Persol's of some description.

Also, I'm finding it wierd being back in the casual culture of Brisbane. What do you guys generally wear out to bars at the more 'classy' end of the spectrum? And I don't mean bar restaurants but proper bars/clubs.

Also typical pubs too? In Jordan I just dressed conservatively all the time, so lowest end of the spectrum, at a local pub, would be ocbd, chinos, chukkas, but sometimes here I feel a litte 'uptight' in that. I'm used to having a uniform now though, so not sure what is a better option. Especially since I need to meet more girls (after being in the middle east that is) haha.

edit: just realised I have unanswered PM's. Apologies!

Considering it's Brissy, pants would stand you in good stead.

That story is a bit depressing.

I was just browsing the Country Road outerwear site and it's clear someone from CR has been reading some decent menswear literature. Not the #meanswear shit.

Haha. I've been wearing pants and an odd jacket with a shirt, no tie. sometimes jeans and a jacket with an ocbd...still feeling overdressed sometimes. but i guess maybe it's just in my head after mostly being surrounded by guys in jackets/pants or suits.
