1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I would have thought that's the reason half of them were in court in the first place?

The material of the inner lining is key. If made from natural materials like leather, the tendency is for it to smell less. If made of synthetic materials, they don't breathe and hence trap the bacteria that cause odours.

Stockings / socks are a barrier to that bacteria lodging into the lining.

I just take an antiseptic wet-wipe every once in a while and clean the shoes I wear without socks. And I also clean my feet very well, every time I shower. I don't have any troubles with odours in my shoes.

I have female friends who debate the practicalities, or otherwise, of wearing bras with certain dresses - but I wouldn't wear either, ever.

Nabil, I'm unclear if you are/saying you wouldn't wear a bra with only some dresses or all dresses. Skirts too?

Happy fathers day to all the dads out there. Mine has started off pretty well with new waders from the wife and kids and I'm just chilling with my new little man on the couch.

Yes, happy Fathers’ Day to all, fathers and sons. I’m heading out with the family to have lunch at a Fitzroy wine bar. I found out from a local a few days ago that it’s owned by the Mafia and was the scene of a shooting not so long ago. Should be interesting ...

I did indeed eat the fishes for lunch. Roast blue eye with harissa, sugo and juniper berries. Washed down with a French chardonnay and followed with a sinful lemon posset and a glass of lemon cello. Coffee and a nip of 1985 Benriach whisky to conclude.

No need to complain about the food JM; all agreed it was first-class.

How big was the glass? Did it fit both the lemon and the cello?
