1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Yeah that's the one I use a weekender for when I'm at work.

Received my Henry Carter Herringbone(Black/Charcoal) Scarf today, thanks very much Jason, I really like it. My Barbour SL Bedale also came.

CHeers, been wanting to get one for ages, but never got around to it. Can't argue with that price, would be losing money if I didn't buy it.

Count me in as well - it was the picture below that pushed me over the edge.

Do tell where you got that strap from please?

No idea where it's from - just browsing on google image search.

Heaps of NATO straps on eBay etc. though.

I've found good straps for a decent price over at Nato Strap Co.

Straight from billy Reid. Was on the waiting list for ages. Mine is 100% wool but I believe the new ones have some nylon in them. I would still be happy with it though, great coat.
That scarf... Looks great I might have to order myself one.
Looks great, any comparison to PJ/SS?
Commander is olive green quite dark and the pea coat is navy.

All us cool dudes wear a white face weekender. Anything else is needless ostentation.

Surely this does not preclude anyone from comparing the two though.

x post from the RMW thread, wondering about us aussies thoughts

was deciding on a pair of craftsman.

went through the different constructions from the online catalogue, while RMW moved a long way in making their boots feel like wearing sneakers in their comfort tech and dynamic flex ranges, I wonder if the extra rubber foam and microfibre insole breathes as well as the leather insole, and how the supportive footbed affects the fit of shoes on the same last?

Even though RMW charges the same for all 3 constructions, I suppose we have to pay the same for perceived comfort with lesser synthetic materials compare to leather.

what do you think about bringing new technology and materials to traditional shoes?

I like the comfort craftsman. You really can't compare it to a pair of joggers as it's a rubber sole with a padded insole.

I have a pair of the dynamic flex as well. I don't like them as much because the rubber pad on the sole gradually splits from the leather. Its sole also collects a lot of stones.
