There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

+1. I'm pretty sure that the HY socks are made by Marcoliani because a) HY used to stock Marcoliani and b) when he changed over to his own label, they looked identical to the Marcoliani socks.

Yes, but the selection is usually pretty dismal.

Also, the original query was about thin woollen socks. I did get a couple of pairs of thin, woollen dress socks by Marcoliani at DJs some years back, but I'm not sure if they carry them and they may well be very expensive.

Canberra DJ did/has have a good selection of Marcoliani but as JM says there expensive but well worth picking up on sale. HY did use to stock them but now carries a house brand which is made by Marcoliani. I bought a few pairs and there not the same quality.

Tropical wool soft RL Rugby(Caruso) jacket , PRL light blue shirt , Brian Dales light beige pants and AE Strands. One of my favourite combo.

Lovely colours! Is the gorge on the shoulder or is it just the angle of the photo?

Thanks Gerry. It's the angle of the pic.

Adelaide DJs had red and charcoal woolen Marcolianis in stock last week. They're $29.95 though so unless you pick them up during the sales you're probably better off getting Bresciani (which IMHO are better anyhow) from Henry Carter or PJohnson.

KJ Beckett have some good sock sales and overseas shipping costs are a flat rate £4.95 per order.

Interesting that Oscar Hunt is shown to be at a similar price point to PJ. I would have thought that they would be similar to Suit Shop, price-wise.

I think that's a mistake. They definitely are similar priced. Oscar hunt is slightly cheaper than suit shop in fact. Oscar Hunt is 650 for their cheapest suit - at least that's what I paid mid last year.

Last time I ordered from HY Jamison confirmed that his house branded socks are still made by Marcoliani. I got about 4 pairs of Marcoliani socks, which he was selling the last of his stock of, and 1 pair of HY branded socks and I can confirm GF's accusation - they are much thinner and have pilled quite badly.

Just buy your business socks from Henry Carter when you get your next tie or Skoaktiebolaget when you buy your next pair of shoes.

Yes, I've got a lot of Uniqlo cotton socks in a wide range of colours. They are good, durable and very affordable.

However, the original enquiry was about where someone could find thin woollen dress socks, not cotton socks.
