1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I like Falke. Solid, no nonsense quality socks. Not Marcoliani, but they don't pretend to be.

I actually prefer this to the vast majority of get ups sported at Australian "black tie" awards nights, e.g. the Logies, the Brownlow, the AB medal etc. where the men look either like attendees at a mob funeral (replete with barley dressed mole on arm) or they got their costumes from an Easter showbag. Apart from the shorts and the shoes, Pharrel is actually pretty much correct from the waist up. Unfortunately the shorts, combined with the fact his partner is an Amazon, gives the overall effect of mum taking junior to his 4th grade piano awards night.

I'm confused... Is this an old photo or do you work in a meat packers? Where else in Sydney, aside from a commercial freezer, is it currently cold enough to wear tweed?

    Nice jacket though.

Late summer burst in Melbourne gave the linen a possible last outing.

[IMG]Yes, it might be the last chance to wear linen so I've got a linen shirt on today:

Benjamin, Kamakura, Henry Carter, Carmina and Falke socks. The silk pocket square is from an unknown maker.

First series after Kallis retired. Last series for G.Smith. Best 2 pace attacks in the world. Sadly the games have been rather one sided (1 each at the moment, Aus should win the 3rd). Much better watching than the home ashes tbh.

Nice colour! Are you sure it is unlined though, isn't that back lining?

Just a different colour on the inside. No lining in the traditional sense.

Thanks to whoever posted up Ozbargain link to the loafer socks - bought 5 pair for $15. The finishing isn't brilliant, but they do the job of keeping my feet and shoes apart without slipping down and all for $3 each.
