1. Welcome to the new Styleforum!

We hope you’re as excited as we are to hang out in the new place. There are more new features that we’ll announce in the near future, but for now we hope you’ll enjoy the new site.

We are currently fine-tuning the forum for your browsing pleasure, so bear with any lingering dust as we work to make Styleforum even more awesome than it was.

Right now the site is slow because we are fixing all the images from the past 4 months. Many of you noticed that these were missing, and we are fixing that problem now. Unfortunately, it is taking up a lot of resources and causing the site to be slow.

Oh, and don’t forget to head over to the Styleforum Journal, because we’re giving away two pairs of Carmina shoes to celebrate our move!

Please address any questions about using the new forum to support@styleforum.net

    Cheers,

    The Styleforum Team

Finding a Jimmy Rustle post before it gets edited is a bit like how rare finding a Vox post before it got deleted used to be, but somewhat less exciting.

re huge cuffs. you can probably find some cufflinks that are a bit tighter fit.

re cheap button cufflinks. just buy some mop buttons and sew them together.

forumites, not clothes related but i'm in search of some good pillows (whilst hopefully not breaking the bank). i'm mainly a back and side sleeper. is there a particular brand i should be looking at, as well as type e.g. duck down, latex, microfibre etc? i prefer low-medium firmness.

Watching the tennis at the moment. Kyrgios is great fun to watch. Everything about him is pretty raw. Not so sure about his attitude though.

I use a buckwheat husk pillow, pretty good at keeping shape and hypoallergenic too. The husks can washed and reused, or refilled if need be. Some would have other uses for it too...

Interesting - where did you get it, if I might ask?

They're common in Japan but I haven't tried to bring one back with me as I'm sure that Customs wouldn't let it in.

I've got close. I keep thinking that a charcoal would probably be a safer bet for a third suit, unfortunately Herringbone and Rhodes and Beckett have nothing in my size :(

Went all over Newcastle looking for an optometrist that stocked Oliver Peoples - it was about as elusive as a green Hermes breast wallet.

I thought that the fabric of the Zoff suit looked OK - a bit more lively than a regular pinstripe but not too loud - but at least on the model used in the online catalogue picture, the jacket looked quite short.

Thought this was interesting, and relevant to the discussion yesterday (from mostexerent, regarding dressing 'business casual'):

I heartily agree with all of the above. Particularly the bit about the pocket square :nodding:

I'm intrigued, going to give SC + dress pants + tie + pocket square another go. I have to say I just love this -

I didn't like the Zoff in person looks better on the site IMO. I do prefer a chalk stripe though so I might be a bit biased :p

Don't think there is anywhere in Newcastle I was looking for ages, ended up going Persol. I believe there are a bunch of places in CBD Sydney.
